French army Special Force commando soldiers jump from an helicoptere during a training exercise on May 20, 2014 in Lanester, near Lorient, western France. One of the six commando groups bears the name of Kieffer Commando which comes from a small commando force led by Commandant Philippe Kieffer who landed in June 1944 near Ouistreham, on a beach codenamed Sword Beach during WWII.
