Composer Joel Feigin, a professor of music at University of California at Santa Barbara, leaves flowers in the memory of people killed and injured in a mass shooting in Isla Vista, California, May 25, 2014. Seven people we killed and 13 injured on May 23 after a killing rampage. Feigin's recent composition called "for the families of Newtown" was as an attempt to grapple with the tragedy of the school killings in Connecticut a year and a half ago where 28 people where killed.
