PERU-NATIVE-POTATO-HARVEST
Andean men harvest native potatoes in the Pomacochas district of the department of Apurimac, 900 kms southeast from Lima on May 26, 2014. Peru is the country with the greatest diversity of potatoes in the world, with some 3,800 types, differing in size, shape, color, skin, pulp, texture and taste, all of which have their place in Peruvian cuisine.
