TO GO WITH AFP STORIES
(FILES) English fly-half Jonny Wilkinson (L) and English fly-half Mike Catt celebrate with the William Webb Ellis Cup after England's won in the 2003 Rugby World Cup final match Australia vs England at the Olympic Park Stadium in Sydney on November 22, 2003. England World Cup hero Jonny Wilkinson will retire as a player on May 31, 2014 at the end of the season after Toulon's European Cup and French Top 14 finals. The fly-half, most famous for winning the 2003 World Cup for England with an extra-time drop goal against Australia, only ever played for two clubs during his 17-year long career, joining big-spending Toulon from Newcastle in 2009.
