Indigenous rights activist and Amazonian Indian tribe Kayapo future chief Megaron Txucarramae takes part in a press conference at the Quai Branly museum in Paris, on June 5, 2014. Txucarramae, a successor to Indigenous rights activist and Amazonian Indian tribe Kayapo chief Raoni Metuktire warned that even as the World Cup approaches and takes place, massive deforestation is taking place in many parts of Brazil, including in the Amazon. Raoni and Txucarramae are taking part in an environmental awareness campaign and tour across several European countries, to raise the issue of deforestation ahead of the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil.
