MEDITERRANEAN-RESCUE-MIGRANTS
In this image released by the US Navy, the guided-missile frigate USS Elrod assists in the rescue on June 6, 2014 of distressed persons in the Mediterranean Sea. The multipurpose amphibious assault ship USS Bataan transferred 277 persons in distress to the Armed Forces of Malta offshore patrol vessel P61.
