FRANCE-SCIENCES-TECHNOLOGY-EGYPT-MUMMY-HERITAGE
A picture taken on June 14, 2014 shows a computer screen displaying an Egyptian mummy dating from the 3rd century BC as it is being scanned by the taphonomy unit at the Roger Salengro hospital, in Lille, northern France. Found among the tombstones of Thebes, and now being taken care of by the natural history museum of Lille, the mummy is scanned thanks to new technologies helping scientists bring new interesting elements in their paleontological research.
