ZIMBABWE-POLITICS-MEDIA-JUSTICE
Editor of Zimbabwe' state-owned newspaper "Sunday Mail", Edmund Kudzayi (C), who is facing charges of subversion and undermining the authority of Zimbabwe's president, leaves the Magistrate's Court in Harare on June 23, 2014. A Zimbabwe magistrate's court on June 23 remanded in Kudzayi custody, ordering him to return to court on July 7. The charges against Kudzayi include calling Zimbabwe's president Robert Mugabe a tyrant and dictator, and alleging that he stole an election, remarks allegedly made in 2008 in publications he wrote for before joining state media this year.
