IRAN-FRANCE-TRASPORT-AIR FRANCE
French President of Air France, Jean-Cyril Spinetta, speaks with journalists under a painting of Iran-s Qajar Dynasty king Nasereddin Shah, who reigned from 1848 to 1896, during a ceremony at the French embassy in Tehran, 21 June 2004. Air France resumed its non-stop flights between Paris and Tehran, following a seven-year interruption in service because it was not cost-effective. The three weekly flights from Paris Charles de Gaulle airport will mark the first time a non-Iranian carrier flies non-stop between France and Iran since Air France called off its flights in 1997.
