IRAN-FRANCE-TRASPORT-AIR FRANCE
French Transport Secretary Francois Goulard (L) and French Ambassador to Tehran Francois Nicoullaud attend the Air France ceremony at the French embassy in Tehran, 21 June 2004. Air France resumed its non-stop flights between Paris and Tehran, following a seven-year interruption in service because it was not cost-effective. The three weekly flights from Paris Charles de Gaulle airport will mark the first time a non-Iranian carrier flies non-stop between France and Iran since Air France called off its flights in 1997.
