After French actress Julie Gayet won in civil court the case opposing her to Closer, four people are being subpoenaed to criminal court on July 1, 2014 for invasion of privacy : the paparazzi Sebastien Valiela, his assistant Laurent Viers, Mondadori Magazines France General Manager Carmine Perna and the magazine's editor Laurence Pieau.
