Belgian paedophile Marc Dutroux was sentenced 22 June 2004 to life in prison for murder, kidnap and rape. Dutroux, 47, was convicted last week of abducting and brutally raping six girls in the mid-1990s, four of whom died. Michelle Martin was sentenced to 30 years in prison for kidnapping and rape. Michel Lelievre was sentenced to 25 years in prison for kidnapping and drug-dealing. Michel Nihoul was sentenced to five years in jail for drug-dealing and several counts of fraud.
