Demonstrators enter to ransack the SNCM ferry compagny headquarters in Bastia, Corsica, on July 9, 2014 on the sidelines of a protest gathering SNCM employees and hundreds of local business owners and elected to protest against French government incapacity to put an end to a six weeks long conflict with employees of the SNCM. The striking workers denounced the French state's "betrayal", which, after having given the green light to a plan of industrial recovery, eventually gave up.
