HONDURAS-US-MIGRATION-CHILDREN
A woman and her daughter get off the bus that had picked them at the airport of San Pedro Sula, about 260 km north of Tegucigalpa, on July 14, 2014 after being deported from the United States. A first group of 120 deportees from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala who had crossed into the United States illegally were repatriated by plane to their countries -- most of the unaccompanied youths. US authorities have detained some 57,000 unaccompanied minors since October, twice the number from the same period a year ago, seeking to illegally cross into the US from Mexico.
