FRANCE-POPULTERY-EXPORTS
Tilly-Sabco slaughterhouse unionist Corinne Nicole stands with other workers on July 15, 2014, blocking a main road, linking the western French cities of Rennes and Brest near the Brittany village of Plouegat-Moysan, asking the French prime minister to arbitrate on poultry exports and support the industry. More than 300 poultry farmers and workers blocked the road on the eve of a meeting on the future of the slaughterhouse, specialized in frozen chickens for exports, mostly to the Middle East.
