HAITI-SPORTS FOR HOPE CENTRE
United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon (L), Thomas Bach(C) IOC President, and Haitian Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe(R) speak with a group of young soccer players while touring the new facilities that were inaugurated July 15, 2014 of the Sports for Hope Centre in Port au Prince, Haiti. This is the second Centre built under the IOC Sports for Hope Programme. The multipurpose complex offers sport facilities including two large Indoor Practice Halls and an Indoor Competition Hall with a capacity of 2,500 spectators for the practice of 14 Sports, Football, Rugby, Athletics, Volleyball, Basketball, Handball, Tennis, Judo, Taekwondo, Boxing, Karate, Badminton, Table-Tennis and Weightlifting.
