A family of asylum seekers sits outside a tent in a makeshift camp for asylum seekers in Grenoble, central-eastern France, on July 18, 2014. On the outskirts of Grenoble, half a dozen large tents have been pitched on the asphalt, in an area reserved for "gens du voyages" (travelers). Around 30 people have been living there since the month of October, including some 20 asylum seekers, mostly from former Yugoslavia.
