ALBANIA-ART-ENVIRONMENT-AWARD
Albanian artist Saimir Strati poses with girls in front of his latest environmentally-themed mosaic “Save the Earth”, depicting the bitten apple of the Garden of Eden, for which he received his eighth Guinness World Records award, on July 26, 2014 in Fier. Strati won his eighth Guinness World Record for creating the world's largest mosaic, using over 180,000 straws to complete the 30 square meter art piece. A multiple Guinness World Record holder due to his previous creations made, among others things, of nails, toothpicks and CDs, Strati has chosen recyclable materials to create what he calls his postcard to the planet.
