FOREST PARK, IL - JULY 26: Eleven-year-old Andre Pierce says a final goodbye to his cousin, eleven-year-old Shamiya Adams, following a graveside ceremony at Forest Home Cemetery on July 26, 2014 in Forest Park, Illinois. Adams died on July19 after being struck in the head by a stray bullet that flew through an open window and an interior wall at the home of a friend with whom she was spending the night. Pierce was born on the same day as Shamiya and her twin brother. More than 1,100 people have been shot in Chicago in 2014 including at least 12 yesterday.
