Indian child, Rabibul Ahmed receives medical treatment for encephalitis on his admission to the North Bengal Medical College Hospital (NBMCH) on the outskirts of Siliguri on August 1, 2014. Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Harsh Vardhan revealed his concern over the death toll due to encephalitis and expressed his desire to visit the affected areas, particularly in the northern part of West Bengal, in a letter to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, according to the Press Trust of India (PTI).
