This August 3, 2014 NASA satellite photo shows Hurricane Iselle in the Eastern Pacific Ocean. Powerful Hurricane Iselle was in the open Pacific August 4, barrelling towards Hawaii but the storm is likely to weaken in the next few days, the Miami-based National Hurricane Center said. Iselle, a major Category Three storm on the five-level Saffir-Simpson scale, was located some 1,305 miles (2,100 kilometers) east of Hilo, Hawaii, the NHC said and was packing maximum sustained winds of 125 miles (205 kilometers) per hour and moving west toward the US island state at around nine miles (15 kilometers) per hour. On its current path Iselle is forecast to pass just north of the island of Oahu on Thursday.
