SYRIA-CONFLICT
A man helps a woman from an ambulance after she was injured following an alleged Syrian government helicopter attack in which a barrel bomb was dropped on the Hanano neighborhood, in the eastern district of the northern Syrian city of Aleppo on August 9, 2014. The Britain-based Observatory estimates that more than 170,000 people have been killed in Syria since March 2011, the start of a peaceful uprising against Assad's regime that developed into an armed revolt.
