ISRAEL-US-CANADA-RELIGION-IMMIGRANTS-JEWISH-ALIYAH
Jewish new immigrants from North America, who are making Aliyah (Immigration to Israel) and who plan to join the Israeli army, pose for a group picture upon their arrival at Ben Gurion International airport on August 12, 2014 in Lod, about 15 kms east of Tel Aviv. Despite security tensions in Israel, 338 new Olim (Jewish immigrants) from the US and Canada arrived in Israel on a special Aliyah charter flight.
