South African women dressed in traditional attires dance in Marikana on August 12, 2014 as they take part in a "Women from Marikana" gathering to support women who lost bread winners during the violent strikes of August 2012. Deputy South African President Cyril Ramaphosa gave evidences about his role in the events which led to the deadly events of August 16, 2012 in Marikana.
