A handout picture released by the British Ministry of Defence (MOD) via the official Defence News Imagery website on August 12, 2014 shows An engineer preparing the Litening III pod on a Tornado GR4 prior to taking off from RAF Marham in Norfolk, eastern England, heading for deployment for its reconnaissance mission over Iraq. The Royal Air Force has sent Tornado aircraft from RAF Marham in support of humanitarian operations in Iraq. A small number of aircraft, fitted with state of the art Litening III reconnaissance pods, left Norfolk on August 12. They will be pre-positioned in Cyprus and available to fly over the crisis area at short notice to provide intelligence to assist the delivery of the UK Aid.
