SAFRICA-AVIATION-DEFENCE-SECURITY-INTELLIGENCE
The AHRLAC (Advanced High-Performance Reconnaissance Light Aircraft), designed by Paramount Group, Africa's largest privately-owned defence and aerospace company, is seen on the runway as it performs the first public flight of Africa's first wholly designed and built military fixed wing aircraft, at the Wonderboom airport in Pretoria on August 13, 2014. The revolutionary new South African-designed and developed aircraft, destined for a significant role in a wide range of civilian and military tasks around the world, has received significant interest from NATO countries and the developing world as it is a major cost effective alternative to existing aerial platforms.
