A Department for International Development (DfID) worker uses a forklift truck to move boxes containing kitchen sets at a UK Aid Disaster Response Centre where humanitarian supplies are being collected to be airlifted to Iraq at Cotswold Airport near the village of Kemble, Gloucestershire, southern England on August 14, 2014. An international plan is under way to rescue civilians trapped by Islamic State fighters on a mountain in northern Iraq, British Prime Minister David Cameron said on August 14. Cameron declined to give details of the operation but said Britain would play a role, just as it had worked alongside the United States in conducting humanitarian aid drops to thousands of Yazidis and other minorities who have fled to Mount Sinjar. The aid drops made so far have included solar lanterns that can recharge mobile phones and Lifesaver reusable water purification containers. AFP PHOTO / POOL / STEFAN WERMUTH
