PHILIPPINES-ENVIRONMENT-ANIMAL-CROCODILE
TO GO WITH Philippines-environment-animal-crocodile,FEATURE by Cecil MORELLA
This photo taken on June 6, 2014 shows a worker holding a newly-hatched freshwater crocodile, one of the world's rarest animals, next to eggs ready for hatching in incubators from eggs at a crocodile farm in Puerto Princesa, Palawan island. The largest collection of the species now live at the centre, while two smaller private breeding operations elsewhere in the Philippines and some small sanctuaries in the wild are also key to the crocodiles' survival.
