INDONESIA-ECONOMY-FUEL
Commuters travel through heavy traffic during the morning rush hour in Jakarta on August 26, 2014, while major cities across the country are hit with shortage of subsidised fuel forcing long lines of customers and closure of fuel stations. Economists say Indonesia must phase out the huge fuel subsidies that makes the petrol prices in Indonesia among the cheapest in Asia but gobble up about 20 percent of the state budget. Energy subsidy highlights the challenge for incoming leader Joko Widodo to reduce the crippling payouts. AFP PHOTO / Bay ISMOYO
