Surfers form a memorial ring during a paddle out as part of the funeral service for the pioneering and legendary skateboarder and surfer Jay Adams who died of a heart attack, at Venice Beach on August 30, 2014. Adams who became famous in the 1970's was an original member of the 'Z-Boy' skateboard team and was portrayed by actor Emile Hirsch in the film ``Lords of Dogtown'', died of a heart attack while vacationing in Mexico.
