SRI LANKA-ENVIRONMENT-ANIMAL
A photo taken on September 11, 2014 shows Sri Lankan spotted deers (also known as Ceylon spotted deer) drinking water at Yala National Park in the southern district of Yala, some 250 km southwest of Colombo. Yala National Park is the most visited, and second largest national park in Sri Lanka. Parts of the Indian Ocean island are facing a severe drought while others are facing heavy flooding due to monsoon rains. The Yala National Park will be closed for visitors until September 30.
