Costa Rican actor Andres Montero rehearses "El Martirio del Pastor" ("The Martyrdom of the Pastor"), a play based on the life of Salvadorean murdered archbishop Oscar Arnulfo Romero written by playwright Samuel Roviski and directed by Luis Fernando Gomez, in San Jose, Costa Rica, on September 16, 2014. Romero was assassinated on March 24 1980 by gunmen linked to El Salvador's right-wing military government at the time in the midst of a brutal civil war that began in 1979 and ended in 1992.
