SAFRICA-VIETNAM-CONSERVATION-RHINO-POACHING
TO GO WITH AFP STORY BY SIBONGILE KHUMALO
Vietnamese pop diva Hong Nhung, fights back tears as she stands near the carcass of a decomposing white rhino on the banks of a river in the Kruger National Park as rangers are seen at work on September 12, 2014. Increasingly desperate South African conversationists are turning to a multi-national team of "rhino ambassadors" to try to end the scourge of poaching -- and Vietnamese pop diva Hong Nhung has been recruited for a good reason. South Africa's fight to restrict the supply of horn has seen military-style anti-poaching operations, but the use of drones and strong-arm tactics has yielded few results.
