NIGERIA-SAFRICA-ACCIDENT-CHURCH
South African officials wear leg and gloves to look at the rubble of a collapsed church guesthouse at the Ikotun headquaters of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) in Lagos on September 19, 2014. A worker at the guesthouse, Taiwo Taiwo told reporters in a briefing organized by the church that he was helping Nigerian and South African visitors at the guesthouse, which could accommodate up to 350 people in its dining hall. Twenty eight-year-old Taiwo who was among 131 people pulled from the remains of the guesthouse claimed that he spent over 24 hours under the rubble of the Lagos church building, blaming "Satan" rather than structural failure for the September 12 collapse that killed at least 84 people.
