In this photograph taken on September 19, 2014 Afghan tourists ride on a boat at Pashtun Poll lake on the outskirts of Herat Province. Afghanistan's economy has improved significantly since the fall of the Taliban regime in 2001 largely because of the infusion of international assistance.
