CANADA-FRANCE-HISTORY-DOCUMENTS

Museum employees unveil documents at Le musée des Civilisations et de l'Amérique Francaise in Québec city on September 22, 2014. After two years of bargaining, the documents arrived in Québec city on September 18, 2014 and were taken out of their boxes before Isabelle Richefort(center R), deputy-director of the archives of the French foreign affairs ministry. For the first time ever, these documents from 1763, which belong to the French government, are being unveiled to the public -- for 10 days only, before returning to the French foreign affaires ministry archives. The treaty ended the Seven Years War and through it, the French kingdom recognized the British victory in Canada. AFP PHOTO/CLEMENT SABOURIN
