Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy gestures following a rally on September 25, 2014 in the northern city of Lambersart, six days after he announced his political comeback. Sarkozy held his first meeting in Lambersart, hoping again to take over in two months time as chief of his UMP party (L'Union pour un mouvement populaire) which is fractured by dissent.
