The first three finishers in the Asian Games men's 800 metres race, Saudi Arabia's Abdulaziz Mohammed, Musaab Bala of Qatar and Abraham Kipchirchir Rotich of Bahrain, were disqualified on October 1 as a new storm hit the athletics contest.
