(FILES) Photo taken on January 30, 2004 in Tokyo shows California University Professor Shuji Nakamura, known as inventor of the blue light-emitting diode (LED). Isamu Akasaki, Hiroshi Amano and Shuji Nakamura, all born in Japan, won the 2014 Nobel Physics Prize, the Royal Swedish Academy of Science announced on October 7, 2014 in Stockholm.
