Kris Gopalakrishnan, non-executive Vice-Chairman and the last of the serving co-founders of Infosys, will retire on October 10, bringing down the curtains on a historic chapter at the IT major. Gopalakrishnan, along with six others including N.R. Narayana Murthy, founded Infosys in 1981 with a capital of 250 dollars and shaped it into an 8-billion dollar company which is also India's second-largest IT services company.
