SPAIN-HOSPITAL-EBOLA-DOG
Locals and members of animal rights groups lie on the ground as police remove Excalibur, the dog of ebola infected Spanish nurse Teresa and her husband Javier Limon, form the couples residence on October 8, 2014 in Alcorcon to be euthanized after they were admitted Sunday and Monday respectively to a Madrid hospital. Health authorities on yesterday ordered the death of the dog owned by a Spanish health worker infected with Ebola in Madrid, triggering a campaign to save him by her husband and animal rights activists. The husband, Javier Limon, who has been placed in quarantine, contacted local media to object to the decision by Madrid's department of health. AFP PHOTO / CURTO DE LA TORRE
