Katy Perry will perform at the half-time show for American football's Super Bowl championship, one of the nation's most watched TV spectacles, Billboard reported on October 10, 2014. The music industry Bible, gave no details about the planned event, but according to a Wall Street Journal report in August, pop diva Perry had been on a shortlist of potential Super Bowl performers that also included Coldplay and Rihanna.
