Iraqi mourners carry the coffin of Iraqi member of parliament (MP) and commander in the Shiite Badr militia Ahmed al-Khafaji, who was killed the previous day alongside more than 21 others in a suicide bombing in the Kadhimiyah area of Baghdad, during his funeral procession in the Shiite Kadhimiyah district of the capital on October 15, 2014. In a statement posted online, the Islamic State group (IS) said that a suicide bomber it identified as Abu Aisha al-Samarraie had carried out the attack and that Khafaji was the target.
