A member of the Iraqi security forces fires ammunition in the Kadhimiyah area of Baghdad on October 15, 2014 during the funeral procession of Iraqi member of parliament (MP) and commander in the Shiite Badr militia Ahmed al-Khafaji, who was killed the previous day alongside more than 21 others in a suicide bombing in the Shiite Kadhimiyah district of the capital. In a statement posted online, the Islamic State group (IS) said that a suicide bomber it identified as Abu Aisha al-Samarraie had carried out the attack and that Khafaji was the target.
