A student of Andes University works with lysinibasillus sphaericus bacterium during a research in Bogota on October 2, 2014. The bacterium capable of killing mosquitoes that transmit chikungunya, dengue and other diseases, is now known to "eat" oil and therefore could be the answer for cleaning contaminated water and soil, researchers think.
