Russian President Vladimir Putin any many high ranking Serbian officials attend a military parade in the Serbian capital Belgrade, on October 16, 2014. Putin was expected to secure Russian interests in Serbia, its traditional ally but also EU aspirant, and to attend the 70th anniversary of Belgrade's liberation from Nazi occupation.
