Colon Quevedo, prisoner of conscience and torture victim was released after five years of detention, according to Amnesty International organization. Angel Colon was arrested by police in Tijuana, northern Mexico, while traveling from his country, Honduras to the United States in March 2009 then suffered torture by police and military, he was beaten and subjected to asphyxia and racial slurs. He was forced to sign a false statement that was used to implicate him in criminal activities.
