DRCONGO-UGANDA-REBELLION-HUMAN RIGHTS-UN
Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (FARDC) stand guard at the UN mission MONUSCO base in Mavivi as people demonstrate against the MONUSCO on October 22, 2014. Two people were killed and another was severely injured on October 21, 2014 while attacking UN soldiers who were criticised after a series of massacres in the region. A series of massacres attributed to Islamist Ugandan rebels of the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), in which 80 civilians were killed in less than two weeks, took place in the Beni territory.
