Belgian Bernard Castaigne, lawyer of French alleged serial killer Michel Fourniret speaks with journalists in front of the Justice Court of Dinant 12 July 2004. Michel Fourniret, a 62-year-old carpenter, arrived at a southern Belgian court to appear before a judge probing the disappearance of a 12-year-old girl 15 years ago, witnesses said. Fourniret, who was arrested in Belgium in June last year for abduction of minors and sexual misconduct, has been accused by his wife of killing the 10 people in France and Belgium between 1987 and 2001.
