BRAZIL-RIO DE JANEIRO-450TH ANNIVERSARY
Solange Medina, queen of the 400th anniversary of Rio de Janeiro city in 1965, speaks to the media during the launching ceremony of The Queen contest for Rio de Janeiro's 450th anniversary in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on October 29, 2014. For the queen contest, 33 candidates from each district in the city will be selected among all the applicants through the internet and the queen will be chosen on January 17, 2015. Rio de Janeiro will cereblate its 450th anniversary in March, 2015.
